The vice president of the National Citizen's Coalition, Gerry Nicholls, is a good friend. So I hestitate to do this, but I can't resist...Gerry put out the cheeziest press release today -- a response to the Throne Speech. The two opening lines: The National Citizens Coalition says it’s appropriate that today’s Throne Speech took place on Groundhog Day. “Today’s Throne Speech cast a shadow that even the groundhog couldn’t miss; the shadow of bigger government,” says NCC vice president Gerry Nicholls.
