Sunday, April 04, 2004 Saudis continuing to fund terror Michael Isikoff of Newsweek is one of Washington's best investigative reporters -- if not the best. Story after story, he digs up the dirt on the House of Saud and their shady financial dealings. An FBI probe into the bank accounts of the Saudi Embassy in Washington has found more than US$27-million in "suspicious" transactions -- including money to charities, clerics and students. According to this report, Riggs Bank has dropped the Saudis as a client because they were "unable to provide an explanation that was satisfying" about where this money was going.
