The Petra Bank story

Ahmad Chalabi has a website up defending himself against the frivolous banking fraud charges levied against him by Jordan.

About time. I've written on this subject before. This canard has been used time and again to discredit Chalabi. He has always maintained that the charges were patently false. Any close examination of the facts surrounding the case makes his claim credible.

Given that Chalabi is a serious contender for Iraqi Prime Minister, it's good that he's trying to clear the air on this now.
