Thursday, May 19, 2005 153-152: on with life Well two weeks plus of suspense and excitement reached its crescendo tonight, and now it's finally over. Kind of just, I think, that it came down to a tie. And of course, the Speaker votes to continue the status quo. Can't fault him for that. Lots of ifs for the Tories: If only Belinda hadn't crossed the floor; If only they had worked harder on Cadman or Parrish; If only the Tories hadn't worked to defeat Chuck Cadman in his nomination last year, he would still be in the Conservative caucus and would have voted with them.
