Adrienne Clarkson did at least one good thing

This afternoon I toured La Citadelle, the Governor General's official residence in Quebec City. It is a magnificent house, located at the gate to the old town. It is inside the fortifications of the base that serves as the home of the Royal 22nd Regiment. Today I learned that until a couple of years ago the GG's residence was closed to the public. I was surprised to learn that it was Adrienne Clarkson who opened it up. Worthile seeing if you are ever in Quebec City.
