The new Duplessis

There has been so much written about the results of the Monday Quebec election, but if you are to only read one article, this is the one. (If you are to read two, I offer some thoughts on the ADQ in this perceptive piece by Philippe Gohier of Macleans.ca.)

I won't bother giving an excerpt here, it is so good that reading anything less than the whole thing would be a travesty. An article like this could only have been written by someone who has spent a lot of time in Quebec and truly understands Quebec, as Conrad Black has and does.
