Thursday, February 07, 2008 Score a few for Brian The House of Commons Ethics Committee's "investigation" into the Schreiber affair has descended from tragedy to farce. Not only did Brian Mulroney's ex-chef at 24 Sussex Drive not shed any new light on this non-story today, he even stated that Stevie Cameron twisted his words in her famous interview with him in her Mulroney hit job book, On the Take. He made the committee hearings look like a fishing expedition and also lent credence to the theory many pro-Mulroney people have claimed about the Cameron book: that it was a politically-motivated smear.
